It might not load if you’re adding it to the wrong file, or it might be hidden on the page if there’s a theme or plugin conflict. Can you post a link to the site you’re working on? What file did you add the template tag to?

Sorry, I was a novice. How do you know whether there is a conflict or a template problem?
If you want to post a link, I’ll check to see if the slideshow is loading at all, and if there are any JavaScript errors. That will narrow down the problem. You can also deactivate your other plugins and try the slideshow, if it displays when a certain plugin is deactivated you know there’s a conflict there.
