We’re storing exactly one version of the slider, so if you make changes but don’t see them that means you have a 3rd party cache on your site (e.g. a caching plugin like W3 Total Cache) and it’s cache wasn’t cleared. You should clear their cache to be able to see the changes you made.
Usually caching plugins show the non-cached version of the page for logged in users, so if you’re seeing it correctly from your desktop, then that’s the reason.

thanks for the fast response. And you are totally right, W3 Total Cache is running and i dont know it that well. I am just starting with your plugin but i must say it is very clear and well designed.
I dont want to open another post, can you just give me a tip if and how i can make changes on slides elements which will only show on mobile but not the desktop version ?

Great, I’m glad it worked out!
If you want to make font-size changes (like increasing or decreasing the size of a textual layer) use the Font size modifier: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/444-interface-slide-configuration-area#size
It’s device specific, so it won’t affect other views.
If you want to make any other change (like a different color), then you should rather create a new layer for mobile, and hide it on desktop & tablet with the “Show on device” feature: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/444-interface-slide-configuration-area#showon
You can duplicate the layer by using the Duplicate icon at the label:

or right click – Copy & right click – Paste. (CTRL+C and CTRL+V also works)
so you won’t have to create it again.
