when editing the page there is a box “Discussion”, there ou can enable / disable comments.
You can even globally disable all commenting in your wp-admin when going to
Settings -> Discussion

@lauragiustu, check the upper right edge of your screen for a button named “screen options” or so.. there you can check/uncheck if you’d like to see the options for commenting.. (named “discussions”)..
