Hi! I have a problem after update.

in the comments section I have the inscription “add comment”, but I do not have such a possibility There are also no old comments, the section is totally empty.

I have disabled most of the new features that may bite the update. What else can I do?

    Hi @lukasz1990,
wpDiscuz doesn’t have [add comment] inscription. Could you please leave a screenshot or a URL to that page?

    Hi @lukasz1990,
This is not a wpDiscuz component. There is no wpDiscuz comment form on your website. First you should make sure the native WordPress comment form exists on your posts and pages, then install the wpDiscuz. Because wpDiscuz is the native WordPress comment form extension. If you don’t have any comment form then you can’t see wpDiscuz either.

BTW, when you install or update some plugin, we recommend disable W3 Total Cache, it does a hard cache and you don’t see any change in your website.

I’ve never had other comment plugins. Before the upgrade everything worked based on wp disquz, now the comments don’t work.

I mean the default WordPress comments not a plugin. Have you ever seen the default WordPress comment form on your pages?
BTW, have you deleted the cache and disabled the W3 Total Cache plugin for testing? As I mentioned above, this is probably a cache issue.

Yes, the default form worked before the upgrade.
I cleaned the cache and deactivated the plugin.

Please disable wpDiscuz and check the page. I mean the default comment form of the WordPress theme, not the wpDiscuz. Just disable the wpDiscuz and check the page. We need make sure that there is a comment form when the wpDiscuz is deactivated.

Then enable the wpDiscuz back and follow all these steps:

Hm, I turned it off and no change

Ok, it means the default comment system is disabled for that page. wpDiscuz can only replace the default comment form. So, if there is no WordPress comment form, there is no way to replace it to wpDiscuz comment form. This is either, cache plugin issue, or the theme issue.

You should disable the cache plugins and check all these points:
