    Hi,

Thanks for a great theme. I have two questions for you πŸ™‚

Unfortunately the logo im using isn’t a “long and flat” logo but a “tall and round” therefore I want to change the css, so the logo has no max-height – but when I enter the editor and the stylesheet, nothing shows? How can I change that?

Besides that, I would really like a “change language” text beside the phone and mail text in the extra header – I really such at PHP, so can you explain to me, how to do that? I just want one more “bullet” saying “English” or so.

    Thank you in advance πŸ™‚

    Kind regards,
    Caroline (Denmark)

  • Just downloaded the theme – there are multiple style.css files inside a CSS directory. You cannot modify those files in a sub-directory from the Dashboard.

There’s nothing wrong with ADDING CSS to override the existing styles that you want to change – that’s generally how it’s done on WP sites.

If you’re not satisfied with the support given in a thread then create your own thread and wait your turn – It doesn’t matter how much you protest that your issue is the same, it’s the way these forums work. https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/theme/maskitto-light#postform

@ WPyogi. OK I’ll take another look thru… it is that sub directory I can’t find!!!
I clearly understand CSS when I can see what has been done previously .. always best to investigate first as I see it.
    MAny thanks for your help.

    @ Andrew… I am waiting my turn.
I am seeking answers from the author as a support issue. This post is a continuation of previous queries on this same issue. These are legitimate questions.

I am not engaging in a discussion. These are legitimate questions.

If you want to intervene, get the author to answer the problem clearly, not avoid the issue OK?

Lets summarize. Style settings are stored:

CSS file is located in css/style.css

And additional responsive style settings is located in css/responsive.css, the purpose of using css plugin is for saving your custom edits from overriding in update process, but more or less it’s matter of principles.

We hope that this information will help resolve your problem. Or did we misunderstood the issue?

@bilbaggins – just for future reference, yes, you should have started a new thread as per:

    http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Forum_Welcome#Where_To_Post

Even if it’s the same issue, it’s hard to have multiple conversations in the same thread. (And not very polite to the OP in many cases.)

BTW, I really don’t think the developer was trying to avoid answering your questions – it’s often easy to miscommunicate when using a forum.

@ Shufflehound. OK that’s almost the answer I think but I will have to try another search… thanks anyway.
