No custom email content

    Hi,

    We are using CusRev free tier for years. Now a customer asked if he could get the reminder email in his own language.

    After checking the reminder emails and testing it the custom Hungarian content has never been used in the emails, it defaults to the English default text. (The $cr_email_body does not get the field content in email-review-reminder.php@44.)

    Since we have nice and very customized Woo emails (css/hooks, even template overwrite), I would be interested in overwriting the reminder template similar to Woo. As the paid CusRev option would be insufficient as well.

    What folder should I put the email-review-reminder.php to overwrite it?

    Hi,

    Thanks for using CusRev.

    Our plugin is compatible with WPML or Polylang (Polylang for WooCommerce) to translate the reminder email and send the email in the language that the customer used on the checkout page.
    Refer to this solution Integration with WPML.

    If you are familiar with coding, you can follow the solution to override default templates of our plugin How to Override Default Templates.
    Note: we don’t support customization code, it is beyond our scope of support. If you are not able to complete it, please contact a developer to help you override templates.

    Hi @pear8398,

    Basicly we would be glad to send the emails with the set content. Our Woocommerce runs in the default Hungarian language, and the reminder email content is written already in Hungarian in Reviews > Settings > Emails > Reminder > Email Body. So we don’t know why the reminder emails are sent in English.

    We use Polylang Free just to have some static pages in English.

    Please advise.

    – email settings
    – Verified Reviews option on the settings page Reviews > Settings > Review Reminder
    – email content that you received
    ?

    Thanks for your additional information.

    The settings are correct, I don’t see any issues with the email/settings on your site. If you deactivate Polylang for a while, make a new order, send the review reminder, what language do you see in the email content?

    Hi @pear8398 ,

    Sorry for the late reply. I deactivated polylang, placed an order, sent out the email. This time the email was sent out using our custom text in Hungarian. With polylang activated, the emails are sent with the default content in English.

    Where can I go from here?
