    Hello!

First of all, thank you for your support. Since April, when I installed the Site Kit plugin and created my new Google account for measuring activity on my website, I haven’t been able to get it to work properly.

I have everything configured correctly (or so it seems). Site Kit is well connected with various Google services like Analytics, showing the correct tag and ID. However, I haven’t received any data since the beginning. Site Kit indicates that everything is set up correctly, but when I access Analytics through my Google account, it says no data is being received. Additionally, when I check my URL with Google, it reports that no tags are detected.

What can I do to resolve this issue? If you need information about my URL or any other data, please let me know.

    Thank you!

Hi @tapisseriaballeste thanks for reaching out to us. Sorry to hear that you’re not receiving any Analytics data. There could be a number of reasons why this may be so let’s try and find the root cause for this. Please could you first sharing the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Do you currently have the Site Kit consent mode setting on?
    3. Do you see any realtime data being tracked when visiting your site from an Incognito window?

Feel free to also share any screenshots or recordings of this which will also help us to see what may be the cause here. If you have any questions on the above let me know.

Once you share the information above I can help suggest some next steps for you to take if necessary.

    Hello Adam,

    • I already sent my Site Healt Information via your form.
    • I already have activatedconsent mode on Site Kit.
    • No, I’m not receiving anything, it doesn’t matter if I’m using incognito mode or regular one.

Thank’s a lot for your help!

@tapisseriaballeste Thank you for sharing the information. When checking your Site Health I can see that you are using a cookie banner plugin but it is not one of the 2 recommended for Site Kit when using consent mode. You can see the two recommended plugins and steps on how to configure these with consent mode in our guide here.

I can also see that you don’t have the WP Consent API plugin installed and active on your site. To use consent mode with Site Kit this plugin is a requirement and standardizes the communication of accepted consent categories between plugins. You can read more on this here.

Without everything configured as explained in the guide I have shared with you, data will not be tracked for visitors to your site. Please ensure you read through the guide and check that everything is configured as it should be and once it is you should start to see EU/EEA traffic start to be tracked for your site.

I hope this helps but let me know if you have any further questions.

    Hello Adam,

Before starting to change plugins or configurations, does this mean that if I disconnect Consent Mode, it will start working? I can try that before change any plugin.

    Thanks.

@tapisseriaballeste unfortunately not. The Digital Markets Act (DMA) requires companies to obtain user consent before they can collect personal data. The Google EU user consent policy (EUUCP) requires site owners to therefore implement consent mode for Ads and Analytics customers in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom.

This is a requirement and will need to be configured if you have visitors to your site from countries in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom.
