Hi Dan, thanks for reaching out. From inspecting your website I can see a valid Google Analytics snippet placed, so it looks like all is working as expected. This notice you’re encounter can normal if you’ve just added this Analytics tracking snippet to your site, in such situations it’s usually just be a matter of waiting for sufficient data, with most users seeing data after a day.
It appears some data is getting through as my google console seems to be picking some information up – I can see what countries for example are viewing my website but that’s about it and I am now a little confused.
Are you checking your site using the Google Analytics real time report? If so please check while not logged into your site, as logged in users by default are not counted. You can change this configuration setting within Site Kit to account for all traffic if you wish. Let me know once you check the real time report once more so we can confirm your Analytics is fired as expected. (I also checked tagassistant.google.com so it looks setup fine to me)
Providing your real time report is showing your visits please share whether you can see regular Analytics data for your site, or share whether you’ve just recently added Analytics to this site.
Thank you very much for the quick response and help with this issue.
I have had my site running now for nearly 3 weeks but it still shows no data, despite people telling me they have been looking at my website. I used a friends phone to check my website, while I looked at the live data and still nothing was showing up that someone was viewing my web pages. Although, I can see that 11 people have viewed my homepage. Is this how it is suppose to be?
Thank you again for all your help
Kind Regards
Dan
Thanks for the update. If you do have traffic for this site when checking this property at analytics.google.com (not specifically the Real time report) then let’s troubleshoot the dashboards not reporting.
Firstly can you check whether you see any traffic from logging into your administrator panel from a Chrome browser incognito window?
Hello, thank you again James.
I have posted this link below, it shows my google analytics page with still no data. https://www.sticks-world.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=googlesitekit-module-analytics
However, here is my dashboard which does show some data, but not all of it.
https://www.sticks-world.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=googlesitekit-dashboard
Should I just wait a few more days for this data to come through or is there still something not working correctly. I have been on google analytics itself to check what data is appearing, as you can see it still shows nothing.

Hence why I am getting confused!!
Thank you again for helping me out with this
Kind Regard

Hi Dan,
No problem, I understand it can be confusing. You’ve pasted links to your wp-admin as opposed to screenshots. We’re therefore can’t see your dashboards. What I would like to see in the form of a screenshot (using a service such as Imgur) is your dashboards at analytics.google.com, to see if there is traffic for your Site Kit connected property.
We we can determine there is traffic on that Site Kit connected property then we can troubleshoot why this isn’t reflected in your Site Kit dashboard, with the plugin pulling information from your Google Analytics account.
In addition to you sharing whether there is traffic at Analytics.google.com please share whether the same dashboards are blank when you check Site Kit from a Chrome browser incognito window.
@stick29 Just checking in here – are you still experiencing issues with Site Kit? As James noted, screenshots would be helpful here for us to help troubleshoot if you are!
Hello,
Sorry about the late reply.
I have checked everything today and it all seems to be recording data now.
Thank you very much for your assistance and help
Kind Regards
Dan
@stick29 No problem at all, glad we were able to help! Please do feel free to leave a review – we’d love to hear your feedback on the plugin.
