• I see there is a long history of this problem, as recently as 2 weeks ago (noted here in the WP forums) but here it is again:

    Brand new installation of WP
    No plugins activated or installed
Can’t add a photo to a page or it throws that error message

I checked on another website that is WP and GoDaddy and having the same problem.

I spoke to GoDaddy support and they say they whitelisted my IP as was mentioned in some people’s posts from around 2 years ago.

    Still happening.

Please advise because I can’t image what I am going to tell the 20 clients that I manage WP sites for.

    Thanks.

It seems your local DNS cache issue. If you are using Windows OS at your end, flush DNS cache by running the command “ipconfig /flushdns” through terminal(Command Prompt) then try to access the website again.

I’ll have to let the folks at GoDaddy know about running that command because it’s been escalated to a ticket with some sort of hosting expert over there because after quite a while yesterday they couldn’t figure it out.
