Hi @masselyn,
Could you please also share a screenshot of your Debug screen? (Settings > WordPress Popular Posts, then click on Debug.)
Hi:
Of course, please find the link below to the screenshot. Thanks so much for the super fast response!!

Thanks Masselyn,
Ok, so I didn’t see anything that’s obviously wrong so let’s take it from the top. I noticed that you configured the widget to display popular posts from categories IDs 60, 61, 62, and 63. Which categories are these on your site?
They are the categories that have some of the largest # of posts in them. It was a part of my testing, to try and narrow down the categories and see if that results in something different. I can remove that, there is no other specific reason why I chose those.
Please try removing these categories and see if that changes anything.
I assume you mean remove them from the widget, right? I did that, and now it is working. Okay, I know I tried that before!!! So darn weird, but it appears to be working now. 🙂
Keep in mind that if you pass some categories IDs to the widget and it can’t find popular posts for these you’ll get the “Sorry, no data so far” message, so make sure that:
- You’re passing the right IDs to the widget (that they exist and that they’re category IDs and not tag IDs for example – each field is self explanatory but we often skip reading stuff haha), and
- The posts from these categories are actually reachable by your audience.
Anyways, glad to know that it’s working know 😀
