No external link possible

hello,

i am building on a site and i need an image gallery where every image links to an external url.

after installing the plugin i set the external url to “google.com” for trying it out.

unfortunatley, when i click on that image, it only opens the current url of the website (website.com/google.com) as the url being part of the website.

is it possible to really link outside the website with this plugin?
