Actually, I only get the label for the featured image, but no image, no upload button and no field description, even though I entered one.
It’s the same in the editor as for new posts. I tried creating new forms, same result.
Also deactivated all other plugins, and switched to twenty fifteen theme.
Also, this is under the latest update, version 2.3.1
I only updated on a test site, obviously I can’t update my live sites with the new version, and I certainly can’t upgrade to pro until these issues are resolved. Then I will certainly upgrade, this is the most valuable plugin I’ve ever used, it’s worth going pro if it works!
Anyone have featured images and image attachments working as expected? Please let me know what theme you are using!

Did you check with default WordPress theme? I have checked in my side. Everything is working fine here. Please check with a default theme and let me know.
Thanks.
just updated to your latest and the issue of featured image appears to be resolved, at least in twenty twelve. And it’s great that we can now edit featured image title and description! Thanks!
However, It looks as though image attachments other than the post thumbnail do not appear when editing, like they did with previous versions.
This can still work I suppose, as long as users don’t remove images from the content. Many users don’t understand the difference between content images and attachments anyway!

The post content image will appear inside the post and the upload image through wp user frontend will appear outside of the content. In the latest version you can upload image, feature image but you can not use File upload field.
Thanks.
Well, that means, if users remove images from the content, the images remain attached to the post, but cannot be deleted by the user.
It may be difficult for an admin to determine which media library images are being used as post content.
thinking about trying something like this
as a solution
Nice! I see that users now have the option of uploading attachments which may be deleted by the user, and can display as a custom field.
This is a better option than inserted images, since users can’t access the media library to delete them.
Great work!
