Hi Holly,
Are you running the latest version of WordPress (v3.9.1) and the latest version of the plugin (v1.3.1)? If you are running the latest versions and are still having problems shoot me an e-mail to [email protected] with some login details to the site and I’ll take a look into it for you.
Sunny.
Yes, Sunny, I’m running the latest versions, both wordpress and your plugin.
E-mail is on it’s way.
Thanks.
Hi,
I’ve got the same problem. I’ve just installed the easy-google-fonts plugin. Watched the vimeo video about it. Followed instructions, but I can’t choose any Google fonts because they don’t appear.
Do I need to get an Google API key? If so, how do I get one?
I didn’t see anything about that in the video.
I’m using latest WordPress version: 3.9.1.
I hope you can help me.
Hi webengel
Sunny could fix the problem. I followed these instructions:
1. Visit https://console.developers.google.com and sign into your google account (you will need to sign up for a free gmail account if you don’t already have one).
2. Click Create Project and click the create button.
3. Click into your new project and select API’s on the left hand menu.
4. Turn on Web Fonts Developer API
5. Once this is enable do the following:
a. Click the Credentials menu item underneath the APIs & auth menu on the left hand site
b. Click the create new key button
c. Select browser key
d. Leave the box empty and just click create.
e. Send me the API key and I’ll put it into your website.
Thanks for the instructions, Hollybolly!
I managed to put the api key into the website myself (plugin advanced settings). It works now.
Thanks again!
