Hi @tonyurwin, we’re sorry. We missed your thread.
When I check your site above, it seems you are using custom CSS to add 10px bottom margin to the images.
Well, if you are using the latest version, which is currently v4.4.1 you don’t need the custom CSS anymore. The images will have bottom margin by default.
Kind regards,
Herman 😊
Hi – I removed the custom CSS and the gaps have not been restored. I am on version 4.5.0. See attached: https://closertotheedge.uk/off-the-path/isle-of-grain-tower-battery/. Thanks, Tony
Hi @tonyurwin,
Please export your Astra Customizer Settings and share it here. I will try to import it on my dev site and see if I am able to replicate it. This doc will show you how to do it, in case you have no idea.
Meanwhile, of course you will need to put back your custom CSS.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Herman 😊
Hi – I have created the export file but how do I share it here?
Thanks, Tony
Hi @tonyurwin,
You can upload it a service like Google Drive, Dropbox, etc then share the link here.
Kind regards,
Herman 😊
Hi @tonyurwin,
Thanks for sharing. It works. However, I am still unable to replicate the issue even after importing your Astra Settings. Refer to this video, please.
If you would like us to check further, please consider reaching out us through our Support Portal. You can mention this thread, so you don’t need to re-explain the query.
Kind regards,
Herman 😊
Did the version you imported have the custom code?
.wp-block-image {
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
Hi @tonyurwin,
It has 2rem top and bottom margin. Refer to this screenshot, please.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Herman 😊
I ran a test with new images inserted consecutively and there is no problem. However, posts two years ago with consecutive images have the problem. If I edit the old post by deleting and re-inserting the images, there is no problem. So it is something to do with the old image blocks used. I will just edit the problem posts, so you can close the thread. Thanks for your help, Tony.
Hi @tonyurwin,
Thanks for the update. Hopefully, this “manual” thing won’t give you bunch of work.
Anyway, I don’t have a privilege to mark a thread as Resolved, but you do.
Feel free to start a new thread if there’s anything else related to Astra, we can help you with.
Kind regards,
Herman 😊
