Hi! I have just installed the SimpleTOC plugin but it keeps giving me an error: “No headings found. Save or update post first.”

    1. The page is an AMP validated URL (no errors found).
    2. No errors found on Console.
    3. Deactivated ALL plugins – same thing
    4. I’m just using regular headings (nothing special).

Any idea what could have caused this?

Did you save the post first and does it contain any native Gutenberg Headings?

Hello Marc. Yes, I have saved and re-saved the post a couple of times. All headings are native Gutenberg.

Ok I need an example url to your article because the plug-in is very simple and really just collects the native headlines and displays them.

Hi, is this still relevant? I think there is a special configuration in your WordPress Blog . Please send me a link to I can look into it. Thanks.

Could you please check v3.3? My guess is that it should work now.

Unfortunately, I still can’t get it to work. Still says “no headings are found”. Tried almost all troubleshooting steps I could find. 🙁

Thanks anyway. Got to find an alternative… but none so far.

Since there are many people who are satisfied with SimpleTOC: please send an url with SimpleTOC activated. Even if it does not work.
