"No http response detected"

    Hello…

    I am getting a “No http response detected” error when I run the Tag Assistant (by Google) Chrome plugin… It sees the code is there, but the error as well…

    In the Google Analytics Tracking Code tab I am getting:
    Status: Tracking Not Installed
    Last checked: Feb 11, 2015 1:32:46 PM PST
    The Google Analytics tracking code has not been detected on your website’s home page. For Analytics to function, you or your web administrator must add the code to each page of your website.

    I can see the code installed by GAD for WP in the source code via both Safari and Chrome, and looks fine…

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled GAD for WP a couple times and cleared authorization and reauthorized multiple times…

    I have two other WP sites using GAD for WP where it is working fine… Those sites use a different theme but most of the same plugins… The theme for the site it is not working on is Elegant Theme’s Divi… I have another non-WP site where analytics is also working fine…

    The site with the error is verified properly in WebMaster Tools and entered into Google Analytics properly, similarly to the other sites where things work fine…

    I’ve spent some hours searching, checking various forums, experimenting, looking for the solution…

    Hi,

    It takes some time for the code to be detected.

    You can also drive a quick test: How to check If Google Analytics tracking works.

    If the code is there, is not duplicated and you can see your own visits, then you’re good to go. That message will eventually disappear.

    Thanks for responding… It all seems to be working fine now…

    One curiosity though, the “No http response detected” error when I run the Tag Assistant (by Google) Chrome plugin… That is still occurring, and it is occurring on all our sites that have GAD for WP installed I have since discovered… what do you think that is about, and/or, is the plugin just not useful…?
