No image or errors on Facebook Sharing Debugger

    I am having the same issue as @hastibe and @scalpmonkey.

    When I try and share an article on my site via Facebook, the image shows as a gray box.

    1. I can see the og:image is set correctly in the code using the browser inspect tool.
    2. There are no errors in the Facebook debugger site other than the “The following required properties are missing: fb:app_id”, which is fine. The correct image link is listed in the og:image on this page, but it does not show on the thumbnail here.
    3. When I do share the article on Facebook, the image populates within Facebook, just not in the Facebook share popup.

    I can send my URL and Facebook debugger results privately.

    Hello Lkeiko,

    Thanks for reaching out regarding sharing your posts on Facebook.

    There are instances where the Facebook sharing debugger fails for a particular URL but when shared directly on Facebook, everything works perfectly. As you have mentioned, the og:image is correctly and there are no errors reported by the debugger. So, there may be a temporary issue with the debugger.
