It must be real convenient to put out a product with bugs andf defects and not have any way for a user to contact you directly!
“no input file specified” is really getting under my skin!
Donald– I think I can help you with this.
First, are you with GoDaddy?
Problem solved. Switch to a better host. Dreamhost is cheap and it works.
I currently use WiredTree, but that might be more than you need. They are very good, but expensive if you only have one or two websites.
If you’re not with GoDaddy, I can still help you.
Login to your control panel on your hosting account. Try and see what version of PHP they are running, or just call them I suppose.
Are you using the latest version of WP? It’s not compatible with your hosting company’s PHP. If your hosting company is GoDaddy, save yourself a hell of a lot of time and future frustration and just find somebody else.
I have been researching this problem for two weeks. TWO WEEKS or LONGER!!!
Nobody had an answer, but I started to notice “GoDaddy” coming up again and again. Through process of elimination, I found that GoDaddy was the problem and a new hosting company was the solution.
