But I don’t see the “insert” message if I drag&drop an element over another element. Is this feature just in the pro version?
(I’m using the Emmet lite theme at the moment, so I don’t think it’s a theme issue.)
Hi @zodiac1978,
You can see the ‘Insert’ tip when you move an element towards a independent row/column (when row/column is not inner one). You can try to select rows and columns above to see if your needed row is a part of other row or column.
We recommend to watch this video tutorial on how to manage responsive layouts
@motopress I know this video and I’ve read the mentioned documentation page. But there is no “Insert” appearing. I can add a column, but I can’t insert elements to a column.
Emmet lite with content editor lite.
This happens to a list item in a multi-column layout. I try to add a button below the list, but there is no “insert”. It works just for one column elements, like Title plus image.
Probably you added new column (while adding list element) as Inner Column according to the Image. Try to move list to the right to add it as separate column and then drag the button to Insert under the list. Here I’ve captured small video for you to explain what I mean
I’m doing exactly what is shown in the video but there is no “insert” appearing for me. I’ve disabled all other plugins. Active is only Emmet Theme Engine, MotoPress Content Editor Lite and MotoPress Slider Lite. Emmet Lite is the active theme. What am I doing wrong?
Hi @zodiac1978,
Well you can email me attaching shortcodes used at your page. For this switch to Text (HTML) mode editor and copy the shorcodes at your page. Then email me at motopressapp [at] gmail . com
I’ll test it on my side.
