No Jetpack widgets
-
Hey there,
I was fiddling around with an old WP-website of a friend of mine which I used to maintain (but kept updated).
I have Jetpack installed on it and wanted to put a ‘facebook like-box’ widget on the homepage. But I noticed I cannot find any of the Jetpack widgets in my appearence->widgets menu. I have wordpress and all of my plugins up-to-date including jetpack, I can see all other widgets (including my jiggoshop widgets) But I just can’t find the Jetpack widgets. I tried to deactivate and activate the Jetpack plugin, but this was also no use.
I wondered if this problem occurred to other people as well and if there is a solution for this. (I have the feeling I am overseeing something really stupid, just don’t know what it is).

Could you try going to this page, and enable the Extra Sidebar Widgets module? That should help!
https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack_modulesWe’re also working on making the feature easier to access and enable when it’s disabled. You can follow our progress here:

I already thought I should activate the widgets, just couldn’t find where.
thank you very much.
My jetpack does not let me turn on Extra Side Bar Widgets. Why?
