No lists found after entering API key

I’m trying to connect to a Mailchimp account that has one audience list and several tags.

When entering the API-key into the WP WooCommerce Mailchimp settings, the dropdown to select the main list remains empty, with a notification that no matches are found. The interest groups and tags are listed as not available. A green checkmark does appear, indicating that the key is valid, and otherwise the plugin seems to work, but I want to configure the plugin based on Mailchimp tags which is now impossible because the plugin doesn’t see any.

Everything seems to be in order on the Mailchimp side: I’ve verified that there is an audience configured, several tags exist, and the account that was used to generate the API-key has admin rights. I’ve tried several keys, the same thing keeps happening.

Can you help me find a solution?
