Check the Setting > General What email you mentioned there?
Try changing the email address.
Tried everything. Nothing works. Emails are correct in both places – General Settings and User/Author settings.
I’ve upgraded to 2.8 and this seemed to happen on that day – a day when I also edited all my Users. So it’s hard to tell what did it. I’ve read every single WP and non-WP forum/discussion on this topic, and no one has a fix, even though this seems to have been going on for years after subsequent WP upgrades.
Anyone?

Two days ago I upgraded to 2.6, and since then I haven’t been getting emails when people have been leaving comments. I checked the settings, and the “email me when someone posts a comment”–or whatever it says–is checked. Anyone else having this problem?
