    Hi Sander,

Does your MailChimp API log show any (failed) API calls? If the form shows a success message, the API call should have succeeded.

It could be that the opt-in email is a little delayed or ended up in your SPAM folder. Could you double check this?

    Thanks!

Hi danny. Finally many hours later two of the tests came through with confirmation emails. The API log shows some fails.

    Hi,
I’ve the same exact issue. I opened an issue also on github, but no answer yet.

    THanks

    Hi there,

The API log looks fine to me. The only failed calls I see is the plugin checking to see if there are any interest groupings for the list, which fails if you didn’t create any interest grouping. This call failing is no problem at all. 🙂

As far as I can tell, the confirmation emails are just a little delayed. As these emails are not sent out by the plugin, it is nothing the plugin can do something about. The time it takes for the email to arrive depends on a lot of factors. The following MailChimp articles shed some light on this.

    http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/my-recipients-arent-getting-confirmation-emails-when-they-sign-up/

    http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/i-never-got-a-confirmation-email-when-i-signed-up-for-mailchimp/

Hope that helps. Marking this as resolved as confirmation emails are not handled by the plugin.

Thanks Danny. It seems that was a period when the Mailchimp server was clogged. Since then the emails have appeared a bit sooner.
