  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the available memory?

    deactivated plugins, even deleted some.
switched to default theme. I don’t think this is the problem since I remember I couldn’t use the media library even when I had the default theme.
    I downloaded wordpress again automatically.

still doesn’t work. Am I the only one with this problem?
I’m pretty sure I never had access to the media library from the second I created an account.

it’s kinda a big deal because a lot of the photoblog plugins ask me to attach images to a page…and I can’t attach any images if I don’t have images to attach.

I’ve tried to upload pics to the media library through file manager–putting the images in the wp-admin/upload.php folder but they still don’t show up in the media library.

    Help!
