No Meta Description

    Hello,

    I’ve had this issue for a while. Although the meta description is written for pages and posts, it still shows “Document does not have a meta description” on Google PageSpeed Insights. I checked the source code and the meta description is found only in <meta property=”og:description”> but there’s no <meta name=”description”> tag. I deactivated all plugins except SlimSEO and nothing changed.

    What could be causing this? How do I resolve it?

    Can you please share a screenshot of a page/post that you write the meta description? And maybe the URL of that page/post?

    I cloned the website and tried to troublshoot. I tried 3 other seo plugins and they all produced the meta description (with all other plugins activated or deactivated).

    Never mind, I don’t know why, but I was underd impression that toggling the meta title and description tags was only needed to generate the the title and description, not the tags. It’s all resolved now that I toggled them on.
