    HI, I just started experiencing the following error when renaming files: 

    2025-09-25 15:36:42: ⚡ Without method, but with filters.

    2025-09-25 15:36:41: 😭 No method.
    2025-09-25 15:36:41: 🚫 File /Users/***/Sites/***-25/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/***a7392.jpg ➡️ /Users/***/Sites/***-25/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/why-no-rename-mfrh-original.jpg
    2025-09-25 15:36:41: 🚫 The file couldn't be renamed from /Users/***/Sites/***-25/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/***a7392.jpg to /Users/***/Sites/***-25/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/why-no-rename-mfrh-original.jpg.
    2025-09-25 15:36:41: 🎯 New file will be: why-no-rename.jpg
    2025-09-25 15:36:41: 🏁 Rename Media: ***a7392-scaled.jpg

    I’m Manually changing file names, which is ticked along with Sanitize.

    This started happening just recently, was working fine before. Any idea what I can look to , to find a solution?

    Hey @colkav2015! 👋

    These logs just indicate that you don’t have any method selected in the auto-renaming settings, but that shouldn’t affect what you do with manual renaming,it should still work as expected. Are you experiencing an issue with manual renaming, or does the filename change still go through?

    Hi, thanks for your response. I checked other files and they rename just fine, but there’s several that won’t rename. I suspect it’s because some, not all, have accents. eg é…

    I’m not too sure how many are affected at this stage. Hopefully it will be manageable, and i’ll download, rename the affected files, and re-upload them.
