    Hello,
    often in iOS there are problems with thumbnails due to mismatched codecs. See the demo page on my site – everything works fine there

    Thanks but I don’t understand, what is the solution? Is there something I need to do with regard to wordpress?

    No, thumbnails don’t work on Safari. You have to manually add a poster for each video for them to show in the gallery on Apple devices using Safari.
