• Hey there.
My website has no padlock and i just can’t find the reason.
When testing my site with “why no padlock”, the result says i have one image wit an insecure url.
But i changed this url and going to this spezific image, i see the urls is https – so why is this?
I changed the url throughout the website with “better search replace” and it worked.

Then i changed the settings of “really simple ssl” – i allowed to use “alternitive methods to fix mixed content”. After that i got my padlock. “why no padlock” was still saying i have an insecure picture url, but i had my padlock.

Then i made some small changes on the website and my padlock is gone. It’s just gone and i have no clue.
It’s a bit urgent since a have an online-shop and customers do not realy trust shops without padlock…
    Thank you

    This is the issue:

ixed Content: The page at 'https://myveryowngoods.store/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'http://myveryowngoods.store/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Back.jpeg'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.
Mixed Content: The page at 'https://myveryowngoods.store/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'http://myveryowngoods.store/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/coupon.png'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

I suspect that this is part of some CSS or your theme settings. Check the theme settings carefully, looking for “Back.jpeg” and “coupon.png”.

    Thank your for looking.
The picture Back.jpeg was the one which I changed with “better search replace” – actually i dont have any addittional css except one short code which makes the creditcard-icons at the checkout page smaller.
Do you have a suggestion how i can change those url’s?

YOu need to find out where they’re entered. It could be set in your theme or page builder.

Thank you – i now found out- that “better search replacement” doesn’t work with elementor 🙄 – so I could update the url with the elementor tool.

    Thanks a lot.
