    i just followed the install directions step by step, spent an hour getting all the files into the file manager on my cPanel, and things aren’t going well.

    i placed all the files in a folder called ‘wordpress’ and typed in the address to set it up with eveything relevant put in, but it still won’t get me into the setup.

    help please, i’m on my fifth program in two days and i just want my website back.

    Did you edit your config file? Set up a database? You say you uploaded all of the files to your server but “can’t get anything” – no error messages? You should at least have an error message – are you going to the right URL?
