No password protected box

    I am trying to do the password protection on one page in wordpress, I do the password box on the side and once I save it it only shows the text written no box for the password, Im new to wordpress and dont know alot yet, but I really researched how to do this and it was so easy so can someone explain to me what im doing wrong?

    Hi tmwinte,

    Make sure you logout of your WordPress site before you test viewing the page. I have forgotten to do that before.

    If that is not the issue, would you please post a URL link for a test post or page that you set to password protect, so the community here can help.
