    Hi all,

I have the free version and have the settings set to show an excerpt to non-members. I want people to be able to read a portion of my blog posts before they make a decision to become a subscriber… When I click on the link for a specific category, I get the excerpt (https://myspiritualparadise.com/category/self-application/), but on my home page it says No Posts Found, in the area designed to display recent post, unless I am signed in as a member.

    Does anyone have a workaround?

    Thanks in advance

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @flotsam2000

Thank you for the link. Your homepage can act differently then an archive/category page.

In the same place you set up the expert and you set ”
Filter searches and archives?” to No, non-members will see restricted post?
This should allow them to appear on these archive pages. They will only see an excerpt.

    Thanks, Kim!

I do have under Filter searches and archives? set to No – Non-member will see the restricted posts/pages …

But If I am logged out as a member it just shows me these weird excerpts with none of the header, footer sidebar content or anything… super strange…

I don’t mind if it just shows the excerpts with login or join buttons, but how is this affecting the global header, footer and sidebars?

    Any thoughts?

    Hello,

That looks more like the template you have assigned to your archive page.
You may want to contact the theme author or something I see called “pagelayer-header”.

I have the installed the free version of your theme and it works as it should. Might just be a setting you changed somewhere. or something

Ok thank you so much. I have the free version as well… I wonder what in the world I did since that sounds like I checked or unchecked a box I shouldn’t have…
