    Hi,

    If the cache feature is enabled in your WordPress that you should enable Cache plugin option in the WP-Statistics setting page.

    had same issue deactivated, deleted , uploaded zip again now working

    my version uploaded 3.2

    I have exactly the same problem and I have enabled the Cache option instantly when prompted by the latest WPS update. However, despite this, no hits are recorded since then.

    I’m using Disable REST API plugin but I’ve excluded WPS from it.

    Possibly the issue lies with this “To register WP-Statistics REST API endpoint ( wpstatistics/v1 ) , go to the Permalink page and update the permalink with press Save Changes.” – I’m not sure what I should actually do here? Just save the permalinks again?

    Do you have any advice for me? Shall I reinstall?

    There are many reasons why this problem occurs and one of that reasons is a conflict with other plugins.

    You can disable other plugins to find the problem.

    Sometimes the Console/Network in your Browser Developer Tools helps to find the problem.

    Just for fun I tested it without plugins, not working.
    While other plugins are at least counting or – some other – do a job nearly as good as your plugin before one of the last updates.
    It doesn’t work with Cache enable or disabled. I tested both.
    It counts 1 while others count a lot more.

    Still not working have tried everything I am capable of! It works fine on my other sites. Checked the Editor in WP Stats and in Index.php 2. Silence is golden! does this mean anything?

    @aclys
    I’m sure this problem fixed in v12.5.6 (This version published 4 days ago)

    @stormgrayson
    – Do you have the latest version?
    – The cache option is enabled/disabled?

    Yes I have the latest version and cache option is enabled. When I go to settings I get the following. I have followed it through but it makes no difference.

    Here is an error associated with Connecting WordPress Rest API, Please Flushing rewrite rules or activate wp rest api for performance WP-Statistics Plugin Cache / Go Settings->Permalinks

    Please disable the cache plugin and try to test.

    I have no separate cache plugin but took the tick out on the stats. Still doesn’t work!

    I think it might be working!

    @mostafas1990
    Thanks for the info.
    But I don’t know if I will try it again.

    I have same problem. not sure I solved it yet, but when I disabled the
    “Use Cached Plugin” options in WP Statistics Setup page, it starts recording Page hits again. I’m sure that the ultimate fix is to somehow enable the REST API, but I have not figured out yet how to do it. Would be nice they they just told you. I use WP Super Cache.
