There is a BUG in W3. We installed it. It seemed to run fine. Ran some speed tests. note it was working. We were/are using memcached.

Then, we deactivated it temporarily JUST to run same speed tests. We made NO OTHER CHANGES, UPDATES, etc. to ANYTHING.
W3 was only de-activated for 7 hours. But when we re-activated it, we got a fatal error:

Fatal error: Class ‘Memcache’ not found in /var/www/vhosts/AppBuzzinga.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/Cache/Memcached.php on line 38

The only response we have gotten was ,
” memcached must not be present”

Forgetting for a moment that 7 hours before it was running fine, the error was RUUNING memcached.php when the error occured.

There are some issues that should be addressed whether you are “paying” for support ot not.
