No 'save draft' button after editing page

Hello Everyone!

I have just deleted my wordpress site and installed the 3.7 version… (no plug-ins activated, or themes, or widgets) so completely new.

When I edit a page(s) in the text editor it has a ‘save draft’ option. But as soon as I publish it live the ‘save draft’ button disappears.

I’m fairly new to wordpress but haven’t had this problem when I first used it. Am I missing something simple with this update?

This is really frustrating. Any ideas?
