No Shortcode Menu in Text Editor Widget

    General question about the Elementor Text Editor widget.

    In the normal wordpress text editor, there is a menu in the toolbar titled “Shortcodes” in which there are submenus containing a lot of very handy shortcodes for various things (add to cart buttons, sale prices, etc…)

    I notice that this menu is not present on the toolbar in Elementor’s text editor widget. Is there any way to add it?

    Check your plug ins, I think the Short Code menu you are referencing is a plugin. I’ve used similar ones where you fill in a couple boxes and the short code is created. Elementor has a ShortCode widget but you have to get the short code somewhere else, like a website.

    Oh ok gotcha. That makes sense.

    After posting that question I realized I could just get the shortcode from the wordpress editor and paste it into elementor. Worked like a charm 🙂
