When go to my site “prithvirajbs.com” no startup screen appears & it just hangs at that point. I have completely uploaded the files which were obtained by unzipping the 3.0.4 version of wordpress. I am using MySQL database .Name of the database is [deleted] & username is [deleted] & password is [deleted]
Kindly help. My site was working fine till yesterday & the problem started when I tried to add a plug in. Hence I deleted the entire files & reloaded afresh
Thanx in advance for your help

  • Never put your database information in forum edit that as soon as possible.

deactivate that plugin you installed by using ftp rename the plugin or delete it and try see if your site works.

As I have mentioned above, I have deleted all files from my website & reloaded the wordpress 3.0.4 all over again. Hence I don’y have any plugin at all.
I have noted your word of caution re database info Thanx

Have you tried repairing your database?

I see that when I go on this url
    http://prithvirajbs.com/wp-admin
it takes to log in page try login and reset you permalinks see if that solves your problem.

or rename .htaccess file and see if that solves your problem.
    and reset permalinks

I am not able to get my start screen when I go to my site “prithvirajbs.com”. I am using wp 3.0.4
It is giving an error message as below:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/prithraj/public_html/wp-content/themes/bombax/includes/header.php on line 86

    Kindly help

You website open fine for me

You may want to make sure your computer is non memorizing the error page, make sure it is not a browser cache issue.

You may have to press Ctrl + F5 in your browser to view the changes.

The site also opened fine for me as well.
