Agreed… I wish there were another option…. Apparently the developer has abandoned this project.
Indeed, some minimal support would have been nice, but there is nothing. The resolved support-questions have been resolved by other people, not by the developer(s).
I will try http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/uploader/ the coming days, hopefully that’s better.

Actually, that is what I am using now, but I dont find it to be as user friendly or convenient as what could be possible with NextGen Public uploader. (Which I used in the past – when it worked)… I am kinda in a bind on this because I described to the client, based on my previous usage, that this would be the solution.
Everything works for me with NextGen Public uploader , except for the darn error messages the user gets upon uploading… Very frustrating.
