    Have you looked into upgrading your PHP install? It should not be difficult, and your webhost should be willing to help. It is not practical for me to support PHP5.2, especially when I can’t test against it (it is no longer available in my Linux distribution of choice).

    Not possible with our server set up at this time. I was able to change the version and plugin name so it won’t update. It works as-is fine before the update, so no need to upgrade it.

    Would you mind sharing what is preventing the PHP update? The last release of PHP5.2 was over 4 years ago, that’s a long time to go without changing server software.

    its not my server.

    You cannot blame the developer for moving along. There is a long list of old versions that you can download for your old server:

    Do you also think web developers should be making website IE6 compatible for the next decades?
