No verification options in free basic version?

    Hi do I understand it correctly that there is no captcha and no email verification
    option in the free basic version?

    meaning a sign up is in fact no different from the standard wordpress option
    and spam bots have free access to sign up with wpusermanager basic installed?

    That is correct, but please take note this is not the only main scope we are providing in WPUM. WP User Manager will let you create highly customizable user profiles together with custom user registration, login, password recovery, and account customization forms to your WordPress website.

    thank you for your answer, only it also means that without paying the most basic subscription 149 dollars. Your product is not really usable. Most plugins ‘work’ in the basic version and monetise on add ons. Will i pay 149 dollars first and then see if it works to my liking no. A shame because it does look really good. If you keep it updated. it seems to me also that the vue.js security issue hasn’t been updated. At least I cannot read a confirmation of updating anywhere.
