Try deactivating all plugins and check to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
I deactivated all the plugins but I’m still not getting a proper editing function….
I also looked at the ‘new post’ writing page and i’m not getting a ‘visual’ option there either. It’s odd. One minute everthing was working fine (as it has been for days) and the next minute this goes wrong 🙁
RESOLVED!! (I feel like a total nitwit!!) I found the answer to my dilemma from another post here…I had accidentally disabled the visual editor on my users profile page…silly, silly me….but I’m sooo happy I found the answer!!!
change your theme to the default theme. does that fix it?
