I have activated maintenance mode and can access my website with my admin role.
However, I would also like to allow other team members to view the current work status. To do this, I set them up as subscribers, approved the subscriber role, and also entered the subscriber name in the “Users on the approval list” entry. These users can log in, but when they try to access the actual website, they are redirected back to the construction website.
It works at the beginning, but then it stopped working. It worked also some days when I rolled back to an earlier version of the plugin, but now it doesn’t work anymore.
    Can you help me?

    Hi,

I have tested both role whitelisting and username whitelisting and did not see any issues. So I assume it must be a cache issue. Try disabling any cache plugins you have active while the website is Under Construction as caches will try to only keep one single version of the pages (Under Construction or normal and show those to everyone, especially non-admin users).
