Hi,
Really sorry to hear about the trouble this update has caused.
Do you remember which version it was updated from? Or did you try a fresh reinstall of 5.3.1 to see if that helps?
Can you try reducing the number of backups to retain under Storage Settings and see if that helps with the storage issue?
About the schedule, it should not reset unless the update was from a much older version like pre-5.0.
Thanks for your feedback on duplicating jobs, noted.
For the job editing issue, could you share the exact steps to replicate it?
And yes, we’ve confirmed the bug with the missing pagination in the backup history. You can still access older backups by manually changing the page number in the URL like this:
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=backwpup&page_num=2
I look forward to your reply.
Hi,
I don’t remember, I had installed your plugin 2 years ago in the various sites, then there were the various automatic updates
I have already reduced the backup number, but the problem has remained
It has never happened to me to lose the backup program after an update, normally the authors try to avoid this problem and keep the old settings
I am finding another problem with the backup in FTP, which sometimes is not successful
Do you have any idea when the plugin will be updated and solve the various problems? Or do I have to install version 4.x?
Unfortunately, your plugin is creating many problems on the sites, every day I have to go to maintenance and eliminate old backups.
Thanks

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
I would recommend reinstalling the plugin and setting up the jobs again from scratch on the latest version. This will help rule out any migration-related issues from older versions. After reinstalling, please monitor for any problems and let us know so we can troubleshoot them further.
Best Regards
Hi,
I deleted the plugin of a site and installed 5.3.1
Unfortunately the problems I had listed previously remain, the configuration does not work great, when I try to save the change is not saved
I launched a backup, but blocked and gave error
This version 5.3.1 Just does not work
I deleted 5.3.1 to install 4.1.7, very slender and simple configuration, very intuitive, I had no problems.
I immediately launched the backup and worked without problems, I have to check in the next few days to see if the old backup deletes me.
Let me know if you can solve the problems or if I have to look for another plugin
Thanks
Hi,
With version 4.1.7 I no longer had problems on this site, he made me backup of the files and another of the database, as he did it in past years.
The old files also delete me.
While in the other sites where there is the latest version 5.3.2, the problems persist, every day I receive alerts from the cpanel that tells me that the space is full.
In the next few days I will replace with 4.1.7 and I will leave only 1 with 5.3.2 to see when it will be resolved, in the meantime check other plugins that perform backups for a possible replacement of a working and stable plugin.
I am very sorry, I have been installed for 5 years I have never had a problem, all to perfection, then with this more modern change it no longer worked.
I await your news.
Thanks

Hi @gresio64,
Thank you for following up.
I understand how frustrating this must be. From what you’ve described, the space alerts in version 5.3.2 sound like they may be related to a specific configuration or cleanup process on your sites. Without checking the setup directly, it’s difficult to pinpoint the cause. The best way forward would be to contact us directly so we can investigate thoroughly and help get things working smoothly again.
