Non Linked Variations

I’ve watched a number of videos about variations and prices. In each example variations are linked. An example would be colour and size. Prices are then defined for linked colours and sizes.

Example
Colour: Red
Size: Large
Price: £20

However I want to create a product that has a base price and then add a value (example £10) each time a variation is selected giving a total once all variations have been selected. Prices need to be defined at product level not global. Unfortunately, using linked variations is not practical as I would need to create a combination for every linked variation. With the number of variations I have I could have over 200 combinations just for one product!

Does anyone know how I could achieve this non linked setup? Further do you know if this can be setup in bulk?

What plugin are you using for the eCommerce functionality?

Ok, since that is a commercial plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know how it operates. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

I’m not looking support for the plugin. I’m wondering based on the scenario that I’ve described whether the setup can be achieved from core WordPress functionality? Is is possible?

Well, there’s no eCommerce functionality in WordPress core, and that’s why I recommended reaching out to the plugin’s support.

Alternatively, you can reach out to WooCommerce’s support community at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce

The support communities for WooCommerce Extra Product Options and WooCommerce will both have a much better idea of what can be accomplished with WooCommerce Extra Product Options and WooCommerce.
