Non-necessary cookie code not loading even after user accepts

    I’ve got this plugin installed on several sites but (use waypoint.com as an example). When I first installed it, and tested, all was working. I updated the plugin so it would have the reload on accept capability but now no _ga cookie (in <head>) or pardot cookie (in <body>) are loading at all. What is happening? This is occurring on all 3 sites where I’m using the plugin.

    Problem solved. My hosting company, WPEngine, has a cache enabled on all production sites… but not on staging sites. So the plugin worked fine on stage but not on prod.
    On the WPEngine platform, they had to put in an exclusion for the viewed_cookie_policy cookie so that it would not be cached. That fixed the issue. Now the plugin works as expected.
