    Hi,

    I’m using the free version of your UpdraftPlus and I just want to make sure that this version truely backs up my site for 100%.

    I read that the free version does not include ‘Backup non-WordPress files and databases’. Which of course is fine, I understand not everything can be free. However, does this still mean that the free version backs up everything so that it can fully restore the site as it was at the time of that backup?

    Hi Chris,

    Yes, UpdraftPlus free version backups all the necessary files of your site to restore it all from scratch. Just make sure that you have all components – database, themes, plugins, uploads and others.

    That’s great to hear. Thanks for answering so quickly! Of course, I do appreciate the excellent value of the free version, but – to be honest – in that case I see little extra value for the paid version 🙂
