I’ll start this by saying I do not pay for a premium Caldera version, so thanks to the developers for even maintaining this plugin, it has been really useful.

The issue I’m having is not uncommon, I’ve read all the posts about it and am trying to find a solution. Users continue to receive the NONCE token issue even after trying the following fixes:

    – adding WP Fastest Cache and excluding form page
    – scheduling WP Fastest Cache timeout for page
    – having WP Fastest Cache developer write a custom script for me (thank you btw), that essentially resets the Nonce token and allows the next submission to go through.

What does work however, is a manual deleting of the cache. I think I’ve found the location of the deletion function invocation, but I’m not a PHP developer and wouldn’t feel super confident writing the script to clear it myself.

Anyone implement a fix they can suggest? At this point willing to look at anything as my client contacts me daily with the issue and I am unable to provide a working fix other than manually deleting.

    Thanks in advance

Thanks for using Caldera Forms. To clairfy the problem here is that something in your setup is caching the page for longer than 12 hours, you need to find and remove that. Any caching plugin/ service/ host that caches for more than 12 hours does not understand how WordPress nonces work and I would not trust them.

The static HTML cache provided by Siteground, Pantheon and WPEngine are all very effective and configured with WordPress is mind.

Thanks for replying so quickly Josh. Just to clarify, is this article no longer accurate?

What Does The Caldera Forms Error: Submission rejected, token invalid Mean?
Or are you suggesting that there’s something working in opposition to this fix within our code / plugins?

    Thanks,
    Steve
