WordPress Multi-Site. Clicking on network activate:

“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

    Problem #2
10 years ago many, many plugins were free. Today 99% of plugins people provide almost useless functionality and then charge $xx.xx per month. So if you want an even moderately functioning site you’re looking at a LOT of money (especially if you’re using WP Multi-Site) Multiply this for the cost of 20-30 plugins add on the hosting costs, the broadband costs and development costs and the cost for electricity – after tax…

And all but the most wealthy are bankrupt before they even begin.
This is why Linux was invented. Today everyone wants to screw you for everything they can get out of you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @muttleydosomething,

Thanks for reporting the issue. I have tested it on multisite, and could reproduce the problem. The issue is in the redirect: it redirects to a settings page on the network level, while it should redirect to the settings page on the main site. I’ll create a patch for that. For now, you can go to the dashboard of your main site, then you will see the “statistics” menu item.

As for your second issue: while the plugin offers a premium version, the free version has lots of features. We invest about 50% of our time in development of the free version.

I totally agree with your opinion that a free version of a plugin should be useful in itself, and I think that this is the case for Burst.

At the same time, I hope you understand that to be able to work full time on this plugin with 2 developers, we have to have a paid version, otherwise the free can’t exist.
