    Hi Tobias,

how is it possible that i can write something (e.g. a number) in a table cell on my WordPressblog (not in the tablepress admin)?
Because that number will be used to calculate.

Certainly is it simple but i can’t find the function (table cell -> writable)…

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

It is not possible to edit tables from the frontend, and it most likely won’t be in the future. The reason for this is that this would bring very complex issues with it, that affect the core internals of how the table data is saved. Therefore, tables can only be edited on the “Edit” screen in the admin area.

You can however add HTML code for input fields to your table and then e.g. use custom JavaScript code to do calculations directly in the browser.

    Regards,
    Tobias
