Hi, I’ve integrated facebook shop with my website and it’s put the Facebook tracking script in the wrong html section and now I’m receiving an alert stating ‘Noscript in head contains invalid HTML elements’ when I do a site audit through sitechecker.
I’m wondering how I go about changing this if I can’t get into the sites html
    Thanks

  • Hi there!

    Thanks for contacting us!

As per the Sitechecker documentation here: https://sitechecker.pro/site-audit-issues/noscript-head-contains-invalid-html-elements/, this alert is caused when a <noscript> element is present in <head> and contains elements other than <link>,<style>, and <meta>.

I see there’s a <noscript> tag containing <img> tag in the <head> section of your site, but that appears to be coming from a Pinterest plugin.

There’s no <noscript> tag from “Facebook for WooCommerce” plugin in the <head> section.

Could you confirm which Pinterest plugin you are using?

    Hi,

Thanks so much for your quick response.

I am using the ‘Pinterest for woocommerce’ plugin and it’s updated to the latest version.
I am also having issues with this as Pinterest says I need to add checkout events, product id’s, value and currency which have all been marked as approved previously. My product id for add to basket was fine yesterday but now has issues as well.

Any insight into either issues would be great thank you

    Hi there,

    That’s really odd!

As your problem is actually about “Pinterest for WooCommerce” plugin, I’d suggest that you create a ticket that puts directly with the support team of this plugin (SauCal).

To do so, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. Then choose Pinterest for WooCommerce for the name of the product.

You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

I trust that points you in the right direction, for now I’ll set this thread as resolved.
