    Hi!
I was just installing wordfence on site I help to keep active. When activating following text appears: To make your site as secure as possible, the Wordfence Web Application Firewall is designed to run via a PHP setting called auto_prepend_file, which ensures it runs before any potentially vulnerable code runs. This PHP setting is currently in use, and is including this file:/storage/configuration/wrappers/85/155785/alto.nu/includes.php
And if I don´t recognize it I should contact you for help. So, here I am 🙂
    Help!
    Kind regards Pia

  • Hi @piasjos,

Wordfence will modify a setting called auto_prepend_file so that it can run before any other scripts. This allows Wordfence to block out any potential exploits before it can reach vulnerable pages.

However, this setting was already set by your server. It was set to includes.php, which would allow any PHP script to access any variable defined within includes.php.

In this situation, you can safely get Wordfence to include the setting and not override it.

This will maintain compatibility with any other scripts on your server that may use includes.php, and the Wordfence firewall should work as well.

    Hello,

I also have this issue, although i recognise it a bit.

    This is what i did:

    I cloned my website SPORTUUR.NL to SNELSPORT.NL

On the new domain SNELSPORT.NL i get this:

    /home/u43825p39641/domains/sportuur.nl/public_html/wordfence-waf.php
(while /sportuur.nl/ is my old website, i guess it should be /snelsport.nl)

Can i continue to configure Wordfence?

    Thanks!
    Pieter
